Geeks love this sort of thing. If you need to transfer data to or from a naked HD between any computer that has a USB port, there are cables that let you do it. The Brando SATA/EIDE to USB 2.0 Cable lets you be a Data Bandit! If you need to quickly backup your system files onto a HD just plug it in and transfer files. You can also connect CD and DVD drives.
One side of the cable can connect to 3.5′ hard drives and the other side connects to 2.5′ hard drives. There are also AC power adapters so you can easily plug the HD into some power and get it spinning.
