I hope to eventually to make a full review of the Picture Porter, but while I wait for a package to arrive (the gods willing), I’ll give the basic specs for now.

If you are snapping away using your digital camera and discover that you are running out of space on the memory card use the Digital Foci Picture Porter to quickly copy over those images. Pop the memory card into the Picture Porter. It can read CF I and II, MD, SM, MMC, SD Card, miniSD, Memory Stick, MS PRO, MS Duo, MS PRO Duo cards.

On the LCD screen you’ll be able to check your pictures and even view their EXIF information. The Digital Foci has a 40GB hard drive so I think there’s plenty of room there for storage! Connect to a computer via the USB 2.0 plug to transfer files. And you can also connect to a TV for slideshow viewing of images.

Store video files (MPEG1, MPEG4 and MJPEG) and music files (MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV) for your own Show And Tell.
