Printing From a Phone – PrintStik On The Go

What do you do if you happen to be traveling and suddenly NEED to print out an email – text and images – you just received? All you require is a Bluetooth(r) enabled device like your smart phone, PDA or laptop AND the fabulous PS900 Printstik.

At an amazingly compact 1″ x 10.75″ x 1.9″ the PrintStik comes with it’s own Thermal paper – a cartridge roll of 20 page. This Tiny printer has a DPI of 200 and a print speed of up to 3 PPM. You get everything you need with the Printstik. It comes with an AC charger, USB cable (in case your device isn’t Bluetooth(r) enabled), one Cartridge Paper, CD, User Guide, and Carrying Case.

The rechargeable Lithium Ion battery can handle printing 40 pages before needing a recharge. And the battery only needs about 120 minutes of recharge time.

The PrintStik can communicate with XP, Vista, Blackberry(r) phones and many Java phones.

This remarkable printer is made by Planon which also made the DocuPen. I wrote about that here. It looks like Planon really know how to make useful products!

Planon’s CEO, Doug Verkaik, stays in touch with the needs of the fast-growing mobile market and developed the most portable full-page scanner, the Docupen, to solve the need for capturing information on-the-go. “Then about 2 years ago I saw there was an unmet need to conveniently print on-the-go, and commissioned our R and D team to create a solution. The mobile email device market has since experienced explosive growth, and with the timely release of our PRINTSTIK, we are well positioned to grow with this trend,” he said.
