Motorola Q is coming to Sprint!

Brighthand just reported that Sprint’s CEO has promised that his company will begin offering the Motorola Q in a few months. This is great, great news to all Sprint subscribers. I have been testing a ‘Q’ for a couple of weeks and will offer a comprehensive review very shortly. This is one amazing device. Read on to see more of the press release. Since its launch in late May, this Windows Mobile Smartphone has been available exclusively from Verizon Wireless, but Ed Zander says his company will start selling it some time during the fourth quarter of this year.

Sprint’s profits during its most recent financial quarter did not meet analysts’ expectations, which which some have blamed on this carrier’s failure to offer popular phones like the Motorola Q and RAZR The Motorola Q has a tablet design, with a 320-by-240-pixel display above a backlit keyboard.

In a slightly unusual move, this screen is in landscape mode by default. It runs Windows Mobile 5.0 for Smartphone, and therefore does not have a touchscreen.

On the subject of the screen, however, I will tell you that this is hands down the most beautiful screen ever to appear on a Smartphone. (wait until you see the pictures in the review.) Just look at the screen compared to the Treo and the Axim

The Motorola Q supports Microsoft’s push email system, and it supports a high speed EvDO connection. It is able to play music in a variety of formats and sports dual speakers. A miniSD slot offers additional storage for music, as well as other types of files.

This smartphone includes a 1.3 megapixel camera and Bluetooth short-range wireless networking. Stay tuned for a FULL and comprehensive review in about a week.
